January 11, 2026 the Abbotsford Canucks faced off against the Calgary Wranglers for their second of 2 games. Abbotsford secured their first win of the new year after the game went to shootout, and looked to continue the streak. 

January 10, 2025 the Abbotsford Canucks faced off against the Calgary Wranglers, for their first match up of the new year. The last time these 2 teams played each other, they split the series with overtime games both nights.

January 7, 2026 marked the Abbotsford Canucks fifth annual Hockey Talks night. The night focused on breaking the stigma around mental health in the world of hockey. 1 in 5 Canadians will face some form of mental illness within the year, while 1 in 3 Canadians will have some form of mental health crisis in their lifetime.  

January 6, 2026 marked the Abbotsford Canucks first home game of the new year. Abbotsford faced off against the Bakersfield Condors for their first matchup of the season.  Abbotsford returned to Rogers Forum after a 4 game road trip, where they played the Coachella Valley Firebirds, San Diego Gulls, and played 2 games against the Manitoba Moose, where they split the series. 

2025 was a historic year in sports for British Columbia. From hockey to soccer there was a surge in viewership, and buy-in from the hometown crowds. Through ups and downs, to the underdogs coming out on top, BC sports has had a very memorable year. 

December 20, 2025 marked the Abbotsford Canucks final home game of the year. They secured the first win against the Tucson Roadrunners yesterday in their 2 game series, and looked to secure a second win. 

On December 19, 2025 the Abbotsford Canucks began their final 2 game home series of the year against the Tucson Roadrunners. The last time these two teams faced off against each other they split the series 1-1.

December 7, 2025 marked the 5 year anniversary of the Abbotsford Canucks. Rogers Forum was set to celebrate the team's accomplishments throughout their time as a team. 

December 6, 2025 marked the Abbotsford Canucks annual Teddy Bear toss. This event brings in donations of teddy bears and other stuffed animals that get donated to local children’s charities. The big question around this event is who will be the goal scorer that triggers the toss. 

On December 3, 2025 the Abbotsford Canucks faced off against the Calgary Wranglers. The teams played the night before with Calgary winning 3-2, Abbotsford looked to battle back and take the win in the second of this 2 game matchup. 

December 2, 2025 kicked off the Abbotsford Canucks 4 game homestead at the newly appointed Rogers Forum against the Calgary Wranglers. 

November 12, 2025 marked the second matchup between the Abbotsford Canucks and the San Jose Barracuda. Abbotsford was coming off a 7-0 loss and looked to redeem themselves in this game. 

On November 11, 2025 the Abbotsford Canucks honoured the Canadian Armed Forces. Taking time to remember the men and women who have died serving and protecting our country.  The Abbotsford Canucks faced off against the San Jose Barracuda for the first of 2 games, before heading back on the road.  

November 2 marked the final game of a 6 game home series. Abbotsford Canucks looked for their first win on home ice, while the Henderson Silver Knights looked to break a franchise record win streak. 

On November 1, the Abbotsford Canucks took on the Henderson Silver Knights. The last time these 2 teams faced off Abbotsford came out on top, but since then Henderson has been on a winning streak. Abbotsford looked to break that streak. 

On October 29, the Abbotsford Canucks played their second game against the Calgary Wranglers and were looking for a win after a tough loss the night before.

On October 28 the Abbotsford Canucks faced off against the Calgary Wranglers. The last time these two teams played each other they were trying to solidify their spot in the Calder Cup playoffs. 

On October 26, Abbotsford Canucks faced off in their second home game of the season against the Ontario Reign, after a 5-2 loss the game prior Abbotsford was looking to make a comeback.  Ty Mueller and Tom Willander returned to the lineup, while Jiří Patera took his third start in net. Derek Daschke made his Abbotsford Canucks debut on the blue line. 

October 24, 2025 marked the Abbotsford Canucks home opener against the Ontario Reign. This night also marked the Calder Cup Championship banner raising ceremony prior to the game.  The banner raising ceremony brought the energy from the home town crowd. There were a lot of cheers for the shoutouts to the past team members who are no longer on the team.

On October 18, 2025 the Toronto Blue Jays secured their spot in the World Series for the first time since 1993. The last time the team made the World Series, only 6 players on the team were alive. 

The Abbotsford Canucks began their season with a road trip to Henderson, Nevada, followed by a second stop in Laval, Quebec. Their home opener takes place on October 24, where they will raise the championship banner in front of the hometown crowd. 

September 24, 2025 marked the second game of the Vancouver Canucks pre-season. Game 1 the Canucks faced off against the Seattle Kraken, but fell short in a 5-3 loss.  The Canucks looked to battle back against the Calgary Flames at the Abbotsford Centre for game 2, their first home ice advantage of the pre-season. 

September is Suicide Prevention Month. This month is meant to shed light on one of the leading causes of death across all age groups. Within the past few years topics around mental health and suicide have made its way into the sports community. 

September 2, 2025 marked the start of the last home series for the Vancouver Canadians against the Everett Aquasox. This season was one of ups and downs for the Canadians, but this final series was one for the books.
