In a disappointing and anticlimactic loss at the end of a dramatic game, the Vancouver Bandits 2025 season came to a close on August 17 while the Calgary Surge moved on to the Western Conference Finals.

Vancouver Bandits beat Brampton Honey Badgers to stay on top
The Vancouver Bandits welcomed the Brampton Honey Badgers on July 6. The Bandits are now 11-3 in the season after Sunday night’s win. As is the norm lately, there were roster changes announced ahead of the game.
In addition to Kyle Mangas being placed on the suspended list for the NBA Summer League requirements with the San Antonio Spurs, Tyrese Samuel was away after signing with the Brooklyn Nets earlier in the week.

Vancouver Bandits beat Scarborough Shooting Stars in a dazzling comeback
It came right down to the line, but the Vancouver Bandits pulled off the win over the Scarborough Shooting Stars on Tuesday July 1st, thanks to Zach Copeland starting and ending the game with buckets.Â
The Bandits are now 10-3 in the season, an incredible feat considering the continual shake up of personnel throughout the season.

Vancouver Bandits get back in the win column
The Vancouver Bandits faced the Saskatchewan Rattlers on June 28 following their second consecutive loss for the team this season. Saskatchewan entered the match up with 3 wins and 9 losses. This game marked the halfway point in the 24 game season.

Vancouver Bandits comeback hope slips through their fingers
The Vancouver Bandits came close to securing their second comeback win in a row, but couldn’t seal the deal against the Winnipeg Sea Bears on June 20, 2025.Â
Vancouver still sits at the top of the league in terms of wins but added a second loss to make their record 8-2, while Winnipeg now breaks even with a 5-5 record.

The Vancouver Bandits pulled off an exciting comeback victory against the Montreal Alliance on June 14, 2025. Both teams came into the match up at the top of their respective conferences. Though Montreal has played three fewer games so far, with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss, compared to the Bandits 7 wins and 1 loss.

Vancouver Bandits bounce back in win against the Ottawa Blackjacks
The Vancouver Bandits hosted the Ottawa Blackjacks on June 6, 2025, after a tough loss to the Calgary Surge which ended their five game win streak. The Blackjacks entered the matchup with a mid-roadtrip win against the Winnipeg Sea Bears. Their record is 2-2 so far in the season.

Vancouver Bandits fall to Calgary Surge in first loss of the season
All streaks must come to an end, which was the case on June 1, 2025 at the Langley Events Center. The Vancouver Bandits couldn’t sustain the momentum needed to catch the Calgary Surge in a 95-80 loss.
The Bandits sat first in the Western Conference and overall in the league with five wins. This was thanks to two solid wins on the road, consisting of their first face off against the Winnipeg Sea Bears this season and a rematch against the Edmonton Stingers.

The Vancouver Bandits faced the Edmonton Stingers in their third game of the season on May 24, 2025.Â
The Bandits entered the game with two wins in their pocket. The Stingers on the other hand haven’t started their season on the best foot, with a 1-2 win record, and all three of those games ultimately coming down to the wire.

Vancouver Bandits come out on top in stellar home opener
The Vancouver Bandits faced the Niagara River Lions for the first time this season in their 2024 Home Opener on May 22, 2025.Â
The last time these two teams faced each other, Niagara shut down Vancouver’s come back hopes, defeating the Bandits in an electrifying CEBL Championship Game last August.Â
This time, the Bandits changed the narrative and ran away with a 109-72 victory over the 2024 champs.
