On November 22, 2025, the Vancouver Whitecaps went head-to-head with LAFC in the Western Conference Semifinals. They came out victorious, defeating LAFC on penalty-kicks.

On Sunday October 26, the Vancouver Whitecaps faced FC Dallas in the first round of the Audi 2025 MLS Playoffs. With Dallas defeating the team 2-1 just over a week ago, the Whitecaps were hungry to start this round with a win.

The Vancouver Whitecaps took on FC Dallas on October 18, 2025, in their last game of the regular season. Currently on a winning streak of 11, they were aiming for 12, but unfortunately suffered a 2-1 loss. 

On October 5, 2025, the Vancouver Whitecaps took on the San Jose Earthquakes, taking a 4-1 win in this Western Conference matchup.  Both teams were eager for a win, as the Whitecaps looked to secure a top-four position in the West, while the Earthquakes looked to earn a spot in the playoffs.

The Vancouver Whitecaps took on the Portland Timbers on September 24, 2025 in MLS action and in a regional battle for the Cascadia Cup.  In a fight for the Whitecaps to earn points towards the Supporters’ Shield and the Timbers to earn points to capture a playoff spot, both teams had to settle for a point, with the match ending in a 1-1 draw.

The Vancouver Whitecaps are headed back to the Canadian Championship Final after a dominant 4–0 victory over Forge FC at BC Place on Tuesday night, sealing a 6–2 aggregate win and keeping their dream of a historic four-peat alive.

On September 13, 2025, the Vancouver Whitecaps played the current Supporters' Shield leaders, Philadelphia Union. A dominant showing from the Whitecaps saw them take down the top of the league 7-0, the clubs largest margin of victory in their history.

On August 23, 2025, the Vancouver Whitecaps took on St. Louis City SC for the second time this MLS season. The last game ended in a clean sheet draw, but this time the Whitecaps won, taking the game 3-2 off a late penalty kick that saw Müller score his first goal as a Whitecaps.

The Vancouver Whitecaps were back in MLS action this Sunday, August 17, 2025 after a brief trip to Ontario for the 2025 Telus Canadian Championship. The Whitecaps were looking for a win to close in on the top spot of the Western Conference standings, but had to settle for one point from a 1-1 draw against the Houston Dynamo FC.

July 9, 2025, the Vancouver Whitecaps took on Valour FC in leg 2 of their quarter-final matchup in the 2025 Telus Canadian Championship. With the first leg ending in a 2-2 draw, the aggregate score was tied. Whoever won leg 2 would move on. The match against Valour marked Brian White and Sebastian Berhalter’s return from international duty for team USA. They played in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, making it to the finals where they lost 2-1 to Mexico.

The Whitecaps FC dominated the Seattle Sounders in a thrilling 3-0 match on June 8, 2025. With an added win, the Whitecaps achieved their eleventh undefeated match in the MLS, acquiring a new club record.

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC took on the Minnesota United FC on May 28, 2025. It was a match dominated by the Whitecaps, but Minnesota held strong keeping them off the board for a final draw of 0-0. This was the Whitecaps last Major League Soccer (MLS) game before they travel to Mexico to play in the CONCACAF Champions Club Final on June 1, 2025. They were looking to get a win, but more importantly, make sure no player got injured, which they managed to do.

If you haven’t heard, the Vancouver Whitecaps are on a bit of a heater this season. They’re currently atop the MLS standings and on June 1, 2025 they suit up against Mexico City’s Cruz Azul F.C. for the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

The Vancouver Whitecaps hosted the Los Angeles FC on May 11, 2025 in a pacific rivalry matchup. 

The Whitecaps hosted their Women and Girls in Sports night on April 12, 2025, when they took on the Austin FC. 

On April 12, 2025 Girls at the Games were invited to set up a booth at Terry Fox Plaza in collaboration with the Vancouver Whitecaps for their Women and Girls in Sports match.

This match took place on April 5, 2025, where the Whitecaps looked to bring home a win to stay atop the west and the MLS.

The Whitecaps started their season winning all four games and aimed to win their fifth, but were unable to recover after an early goal from Chicago and suffered their first loss of the season at a score of 3-1.
