Brian White now holds second place alone on the Vancouver Whitecaps all-time scoring list across all competitions with 80. This comes after he scored his first goal of the 2026 season in a 3-0 win over Toronto FC on February 28.
The 2025 season was a career year for White, achieving a new career-high, 24 goals across all competitions. He began last season fifth on the club’s all time list, trailing John Catliff, Jason Jordan, and Carl Valentine. Over the course of his career year, he steadily climbed the rankings, passing Valentine for fourth, Jordan for third, and finishing the 2025 season tied with Catliff for second with 79 goals.
“It means a lot,” says White on earning sole possession of second. “Like I’ve always said, when I came to the team, I think I was more seen as a backup, and to earn the trust of the coaching staff, the front office, the fans, and to really just fall in love with the city and kind of move up in the charts and kind of put my name there. It does mean a lot, and something I’m really proud of.”
White has put in the work on and off the pitch to turn into the striker he is today. Now, only one person sits ahead of him on the all-time scoring list, Domenic Mobilio with 170.
He and the Whitecaps are coming off of a career and franchise best season, and they’re focused on building on last season's success and the strong start to this one.
