A rivalry for the ages has begun to emerge in the CEBL thanks in part to lingering bad blood from last season.

The Vancouver Bandits came out swinging in their home opener in a game that saw a drastic defensive turnaround compared to last weekend’s matchup against the Edmonton Stingers.

The C’s had an early lead against the Hillsboro Hops on Apr 28 at the Nat Bailey Stadium but ultimately fell in later innings.

The Goldeneyes faced off against the defending back-to-back Walter Cup champions for their last game of their inaugural season. The Pacific Coliseum hosted the Minnesota Frost on Apr 25 for Pride Night as the PWHL regular season comes to an end. With an electric 4-3 overtime win, Vancouver secured the first-overall pick in the 2026 PWHL draft.

The defending NSL champions redefined the meaning of rivalry as they faced-off against Toronto AFC on Apr 24 for the home opener. With a sold out crowd, Swangard Stadium cheered loudly to welcome the new NSL season.

This was the South Asian Heritage Night full of honoring details to the community. Arshdeep Bains, 2025 Calder Cup champion, joined for the ceremonial puck drop before the game started. The Vancouver Whitecaps closed out their five game homestand with a 3-1 win over the Colorado Rapids on April 25.

Just like that, the number one seeded Vancouver Warriors were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2026 National Lacrosse League playoffs by the number eight seeded Halifax Thunderbirds on April 24.

The Vancouver Warriors closed out their 2026 National Lacrosse League regular season with a 17-10 win over the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday.

It was a Friday night game day for the Whitecaps when they faced Sporting Kansas City, beating them 3-0, and keeping the top spot amongst the MLS. The Whitecaps had a strong showing, taking full advantage of taking on a team who was playing their third game in the span of six days.

The Vancouver Whitecaps FC continued their homestand on April 11 with a matchup against New York City FC. Coming off a dramatic win over the Portland Timbers, Vancouver carried that momentum into Matchday 7 with a 2–0 victory.

The Vancouver Warriors were back at Rogers Arena on April 10, in a Canadian matchup against the Halifax Thunderbirds. Halifax led for the majority of the game, but the Warriors took their first lead with under five minutes left in the game to win 8-7.

April 4, 2026 marked the final home game for the Abbotsford Canucks. They faced off against the Coachella Valley Firebirds for game 2-of-2. Coachella took game 1 in a 2-0 victory, Abbotsford looked to fight back and split the series to finish with a win on home ice.

The last time these teams met was for a single game face off in January, where Coachella won 3-0. Abbotsford looked to carry the winning momentum from last weekend's series into this final matchup.

March 29, 2026 marked the final matchup on Abbotsford ice between the Abbotsford Canucks and the San Diego Gulls. Last night the Abbotsford Canucks took a 5-2 victory, and looked for the repeat.

The Vancouver Whitecaps were back to action at BC Place on March 21 to take on the San Jose Earthquakes. Despite a strong effort by the Whitecaps, they fell 1-0, taking their first Major Soccer League loss of the season.

It was the Warriors St. Patrick’s night at Rogers Arena on March 20, and the green beer was flowing and the Irish music was pumping. The Vancouver Warriors had some late game goals to beat the Ottawa Black Bears 10-8, sweeping the season series and punching their ticket to the National Lacrosse League playoffs for the second consecutive season.
