Sports have been present in the world for years and as the world evolves, sports evolve along with it.
The purpose of sports in people's lives shifts depending on each individual. Some view sports as a hobby, something to do to pass their time. Others turn that hobby into a dream that could become their career if they play in the big leagues. Even those interested in working in the field without being athletes can find opportunities to be involved in sports.
Sports help build communities and foster empathy. They create a space for thousands of people to come together and cheer for the same team, to celebrate big wins or cry over devastating losses.
By helping the world of sports to grow, we can continue building community, help young people follow their dreams of becoming athletes, and create job opportunities for those who love the behind the scenes aspect of the game.
Growing the game means exposing the world to as many sports as possible. It means representing communities on large platforms, fostering human connections, and showcasing the power of sports.
Growing the game is important because it allows us as a community to be involved in one of the greatest unifiers of people.
Every year, with each sporting event, thousands of people come together and become one as they root for their teams. Behind the scenes many people work as a team to make sure operations run smoothly for everyone involved. Back home, people get together in houses, bars, and restaurants all with the purpose of sharing their passion.
The goal of sports is to bring people together and create a sense of unity.
By growing the game, exposing different sports to all demographics, creating media to have a wider audience, this goal can be achieved.
When the world comes together, it becomes a better place. Why not use sports as one way to achieve this?
