Abbotsford has been playing with a man-up mentality similar to last season, this team is continuing to learn and grow as the season progresses. With many of the players moving between the AHL and NHL it's a learning curve for many.

The period would end 4-1 in favour of Ontario.
Abbotsford started the third period with high energy, battling hard and setting up shots on net. Sawyer Mynio used that momentum to open the scoring at 2:41 in the third.
This would be Mynio’s first goal of the season and first AHL goal. He was assisted by Wouters and Kambeitz. This put the game 4-2.
Physicality continued to pick up in the third with a number of scuffles behind the Ontario net.
Danila Klimovich would take the first penalty in the third at 7:19 for hooking. Giving Ontario the man advantage, Abbotsford was successful on the penalty kill.
Abbotsford pulled their goalie for the extra attacker with just over 2 minutes left in the game. Ontario would score on the empty net with 28 seconds remaining. Making it 5-2 to end the game.
