After the game Patera shared his thoughts on the games; “You know, it’s always fun to win hockey games, especially back to back…I felt really good, especially after yesterday, [I] finally got the win in a shootout, which was awesome…today I didn’t have much work, compared to yesterday, but the guys locked it in in front of me and blocked a lot of shots, and scored goals.”

Ravinskis commented on his game winning goal; “You know, scoring back home, it’s really nice in front of your crowd. So really glad that I was the guy, but happy to help my team and great finish…[W]e won. That’s the most important thing.”

The Abbotsford Canucks head out on the road for 3 games against San Diego and Coachella Valley. Their next home game is January 20, at 7pm, PST, at Rogers Forum against the Laval Rockets.
