Vancouver Canadians: A series tied up

April 29, 2025 marked game 1 of the Vancouver Canadians 6 game series against the Hillsboro Hops.
The game started off strong for the Canadians in the first inning with the Hops first 3 batters striking out or tagged out at first. The Canadians would go on to score 3 runs in the bottom of the first.
The Hops scored their first run in the top of the second. The Canadians scored their fourth run in the bottom of the second, making the game 4-1 leading into the third.
Both teams scored run in the third inning. The Hops scored 1, the Canadians scored 5.
The game would remain without runs from either teams, until the top of the sixth, where the Hops scored 2 runs.
The Canadians would score their tenth run of the game in the bottom of the seventh inning. Both teams scored runs in the eighth, the Hops scored 1, the Canadians scored 5.
In the final inning of the game the Hops scored 4 runs. Ending the game 15-9 for the Canadians to give them a 1-0 lead in the series.
The final game of the Canadians and Hops series ended on May 4, 2025. Going into the final game the Canadians had a 3-2 lead.
Similar to game 1 the Canadians were able to keep the first 3 at bat as the only ones for the inning. However, the Hops would keep it the same for the Canadians.
The first run scored came at the bottom of the third, with the Canadians putting themselves on the board.
The game moved quickly as both teams managed to strike out, catch pop flys, or throw players out before either side could score a run.
A number of the Canadians players were hit by pitches throughout the game, but managed to keep the game civil.
The Hops came back during the seventh inning scoring 2 runs, which would also be the final runs of the game. The score ending 2-1 for the Hops, ending the series with a 3-3 tie.
The next home series begins May 13, 2025, where the Vancouver Canadians will face off against the Everett Aquasox.
