Vancouver Canadians make franchise history

On June 10, 2025 the Vancouver Canadians started their 6 game series against the Spokane Indians. The Canadians entered into this series on a 4 game win streak.
The series started off strong for the Canadians, managing to pull off back to back wins against the Indians. On June 14, 2025 the Canadians had their Blue Jays day, which was a sold out. Entering into the game the Canadians were 1 win away from tying a franchise record of 9 wins in a row.
The first 2 innings garnered no runs from either team. However, both teams put themselves on the board in the third. The Indians scored 1 run, while the Canadians scored 3, putting the game 3-1 at the bottom of the third for the Canadians.
Indians run scored by Charlie Condon. Canadian runs were scored by Arjun Nimmala, Cutter Coffey, and Aaron Parker.
Both teams continued to battle for hits and runs, but it wasn’t until the bottom of the fifth that the Canadians would score their fourth run of the day with a homerun hit from Jackson Hornung.
The last runs of the game were scored in the bottom of the sixth by the Canadians. Runs were scored by Nimmala and Coffey.
The game would end 6-1 for the Canadians, officially tying their franchise record of 9 back to back wins.
For the last game of the series on June 15, the Canadians looked to officially beat their record, which they succeeded in doing, with a 3-2 win over the Indians.
The Canadians next home series starts on June 24, 2025 against the Tri-City Dust Devils. This series will host a number of events such as Women’s in Sports night on June 24, fireworks on June 26, and Marvel Superhero day on June 28.
